New yarn collections have been launching each month, with even more expected throughout the remainder of the year.
Now, we do love King Cole, but their launches do sometimes get lost with their small social media presence and limited blog posts. So, unless you are a supplier, you might be even realise there are new collections.

King Cole Animal Kingdom 100g
The newest of the collections!
King Cole Animal Kingdom is a 100% polyester novelty yarn with a fluffy, fur-like texture that mimics the look of animal print or plush pile. Reliable and easy-care, it’s built for projects where texture and visual impact do the heavy lifting.
This yarn suits children’s novelty hats, soft toy accessories, and decorative cushion covers where the plush texture is the point. Teddy bear garments and snuggly baby booties also benefit from its lightweight, huggable quality.
Comes in 6 different shades. The palette leans into animal-inspired tones — expect warm tawny browns, creamy whites, and bold statement shades that suit its playful character.
King Cole Itsy Bitsy Cotton DK 25g
Itsy Bitsy DK is as delightfully soft as the 100% cotton yarn you love from Cottonsoft DK, but available in 25g balls.
The 25g ball size makes it a natural choice for small baby projects: baby bonnets and booties, newborn mittens, and premature baby garments where tiny quantities of yarn are needed per piece. It also works well for toy knitting and amigurumi-style animals where a firm, dense fabric is desirable.
Available in soft, baby-appropriate shades suited to layette sets and nursery gifting, with both classic pastels and clean neutrals in the range.
King Cole Fjord Baby DK 100g
The palette runs from soft pastels and neutral baby tones through to brighter shades, giving a practical spread for both newborn gifting and older children’s garments.

King Cole Dot Dot Dash DK 100g

King Cole Cottagespun DK is a practical, no-fuss choice that washes well and keeps its shape through repeated use.
The long yardage per ball makes it well suited to crew-neck jumpers, granny-square blankets, and children’s cardigans where consistent colour and easy care matter most. It also works tidily for market bags and chunky dishcloths where durability is more useful than drape.

King Cole Eternity DK 50g
Well suited to crew-neck and raglan jumpers where drape and softness matter, as well as fitted cardigans and lightweight hats and scarves. The stitch clarity makes it a reliable choice for lace shawls and cable-panel snoods too.
The palette runs from soft neutrals and heathered naturals through to deeper, richer tones — the slight sheen from the alpaca brings a quiet depth to every shade.
King Cole Yummy Bouquet 600g
Yummy Bouquet is one of King Cole’s most ingenious yarn-cake concepts. Stood upright, the 600g cake is sculpted like a flower bouquet — a gift in itself. Lay it flat, follow the pattern tucked inside the band, and the same cake crochets into a full-size blanket complete with a flower border. Every colour you need is wound into the cake; no joining or yarn-swapping required.
The included crochet pattern produces the showcase floral blanket the cake is designed for. Beyond that, a single Yummy Bouquet cake makes any beginner-friendly chunky crochet project: throws, lap blankets, pet beds, or a soft baby blanket.
