Dimple plush fleece is a soft and cuddly minky fabric. It's feels really incredible against the skin, making it a fab fabric for cosy baby items.
Below are some craft ideas for the dimple plush fleece:
Flannel
We love a homemade flannel - far softer than any store-bought one.
Using Terry Towelling for one side and a nice soft plush on the other - they are so easy to make, we like using a Serger.
Take a look at out blog post where we made a flannel below.
Hot Water Bottle Cover
Perfect for when the weather is cooler.
We recently made one using sheep fleece, but dimple plush is a lovely alternative for an even cosier product.
Find our pattern below.
Baby Bip
Why buy a baby bib when making one is so easy?
Dimple plush works really well on the back.
Pattern in the blog post below.
Car Seat Blanket
Use for one side or both sides for a super snuggly blanket.
Option to make an even larger blaket for at home.
Below is how we made the car seat size.
Taggie Blanket
Ribbons and soft dimple plush - what a sensory dream.
Really easy to make, great for using scraps.
Below is how we made ours.
Reusable Cloth Nappy
Plush can be used on the outside of the nappy - it is a lovely fabric to use to prevent any rubbing around the legs and belly.
We made one using dimple plush in the pattern below.
Burp Cloth
Pairs perfectly with the bib - you can even make a matching set!
Pattern for both bib and burp cloth in the post we made below.
Eye Mask
We LOVE an eye mask and the plush on the back side is so soft against the eyes.
We used the smooth plush in the pattern below, but dimple works just as well.
Other Ideas
We do not have any blog post for the below ideas, but you can also use the dimple plush to make:
- Baby comforters
- Teddies
- Large blankets
- Cushion cases
We hope this has given you some ideas!
