This pack from Pony contains two aluminium cable stitch needles sized 3.00 mm and 4.00 mm. Cable needles are short, straight tools used to temporarily hold stitches to one side while you work the remaining stitches on the main needle — the technique that creates the twisted, rope-like columns seen in cable patterns. The held stitches can be positioned either in front of or behind the work depending on the direction of the cable twist.
The small sizing makes these particularly suited to finer-weight projects where a bulky needle would distort the fabric. Aluminium construction keeps them lightweight and smooth, so stitches slide on and off easily.
