King Cole Cottonsoft DK

King Cole Cottonsoft DK is a 100% cotton double knitting yarn that brings together the crisp, clean qualities of pure cotton with a smooth, fluid feel that makes it a genuine pleasure to work with session after session. Each generous 100g ball gives you approximately 210 metres of yarn, knitting up neatly on 4mm needles to a tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows to 10cm. The slightly fluid drape makes it ideal for spring and summer projects — think lightweight cardigans, breezy vest tops, short-sleeved baby garments, and sun hats — whilst its clean stitch definition shows off cables, eyelets, and textured patterns beautifully. Naturally breathable and kind against sensitive skin, it’s a brilliant choice for little ones’ knitwear too. Best of all, it’s machine washable and can be cool ironed, so your finished pieces stay looking fresh wear after wear. The colour range spans cheerful brights and soft naturals, offering something lovely for every project on your needles.
