Zorb II Dimples is a super absorbent reversible fabric with a face and back of 70% bamboo 30% organic cotton combined with a thirsty inner filling of Zorb fibres.
It absorbs 10x its weight in moisture at rates nearly 20x faster than cotton, bamboo and hemp knit and has a much greater holding capacity than any other product on the market (a single layer is the equivalent of 4 layers of bamboo/cotton terry towelling or fleece).
Like Zorb II Diamonds, it doesn't need to be interlined and can be used to make nappy soakers, changing pads, cloth menstrual pads and incontinent products.
Manufacturer's guidance below:
Designed to shrink less than Zorb II diamond and so is more flexible.
Serging Zorb II requires well tuned machines and moderate serging experience. If you find the material is not getting serged cleanly (material pulling into knives) your serger may need tuning. Sewing with dull or poorly setup knives will stretch and break yarns to the left of the needles which will appear as pinholes after a few washes. Zorb II dimple pattern is a lot easier to serge than Zorb II diamond.
Do not prewash before sewing. You are best to calculate shrink and add this as an allowance in your pattern. Zorb II thickens after washing making tougher to sew.
Wash: cold to hot OK
