One side is an absorbent bamboo & organic cotton, the other is polyester. The polyester side quickly wicks moisture into the thirsty Zorb® fibers between the layers.
Unique, three-dimensional engineered diamond pattern provides greater retention, superior hold, faster distribution of moisture and less leaking under compression.
A single layer will replace 3 layers of microfiber terry and 6 of French terry.
Best used for soaker pads and cloth menstrual pads that have heavier absorbent areas that are expected to shrink and thicken.
Zorb II diamond pattern is designed to “full” or thicken as it is washed. Fulling is a process whereby a fabric increases thickness by shrinking in length and width. Zorb II Diamond will be fulled considerably by drying hot, up to 50% increase in thickness. What is gained in thickness is at a cost in of up to 20% length and width. If you design to take advantage of this fulling, be sure to accommodate it in your cut sizes.

Serging Zorb II requires well tuned machines and moderate serging experience. If you find the material is not getting serged cleanly (material pulling into knives) your serger may need tuning. Sewing with dull or poorly setup knives will stretch and break yarns to the left of the needles which will appear as pinholes after a few washes. Zorb II Dimple is a lot easier to serge than Zorb II Diamonds.
Do not prewash before sewing. You are best to calculate shrink and add this as an allowance in your pattern. Zorb II thickens after washing making tougher to sew.

Dry: tumble medium
